A Stop at Vera Wang

Last fall, my maid of honor Ali and I come to Vera Wang in New York and what was it broke my plush carpet and champagne dreams of true New York fashion (no pun intended) - scaffolding! Not to mention the dresses of ladies are on the streets in an office building registered with other firms and design firms on the third floor. Buzz kill.

Then we venture up to the third floor and, instead of being excited to see us, the guy at reception said that we were still visible although only for 40 minutes, not 60, since we were 20 minutes late.Does he not know the girls are deflected and travel Gramercy Park Upper East Side takes much longer than expected? " Oh well.

I look left and they were there pretty Maids Vera immediately. There was thick carpet, no champagne and a snotty New York fashion girl to boot! Perhaps there was no champagne because we were not actually buying ... I digress. Then Aly tried many styles. However, I do stick with the blush / pink color, there were also two-tone style, I wanted to try it.Vera does not allow photos (the snotty New York Fashion Girl was sure that I know) so here are the links to our favorites over.

I bought this dress and still have it in the bag, and has not yet been worn! I changed my wedding and so I need a different style of a dress! It is absolutely beautiful! It has swavaski crystals on it and is breath taking. Its in brand new condition!

Will my sample wedding dress get fully cleaned after I send it out to be dry cleaned?

I bought a Priscilla of Boston sample wedding gown. I'm sending via their store to a "specialist" to clean. I noticed in a better light, that the dress was dirtier than I thought. It's 100% silk. Are most spots stand out? They are not coffee stains or anything. It's just dirty black spots of people try. What do you guys think?

Yes, it will get cleaned just be sure to mention the black spots of housekeeping and they will remove the stains with special cleaning agents. Good luck!

silk shows everything. If they are good, they get much off - to show them the marks and whether they will get them all out, fair and square, or ask to see the newly cleaned, or make you get the time to complain if you're not satisfied - ie. not 2 days before your wedding!

Yes, it will get cleaned just be sure to mention the black spots of housekeeping and they will remove the stains with special cleaning agents. Good luck!

The cleaner can get it clean! Be sure to tell them what the stains are caused by different. If they are just dirty fingerprints, no prob. But sometimes, certain chemicals used in the cleaning process will react to different spots on the dress and ruin it completely. And if you do specific state that you can not repay. Once I had this happen to a white satin jacket that had a soda stain. Cleaners ruined, and that does not pay, saying it was not their fault because I did not tell them what kind of spot it was.
