Wedding Dress for £300-£500 in London shops? Help!?

Hello. Does anyone know of any shops wedding dresses, where they have dresses in the £ 300 - £ 500 range or am I dreaming? I also have enough material for a dress if anyone can recommend a dressmaker in London who could do the work for the same price. Everything I look I like on the net seems to be around £ 1600! I want to go and try some on but I do not want to end up in a workshop that is out of my reach! thank you if you can help.
